Abstract
This article focuses on weaning, with discussion of what is considered the best age and season; usually when the mother becomes pregnant again and preferably not during the wet season, a time of hunger and disease. Mothers have ways of judging the proper developmental age to begin the weaning process (such as number of teeth), although it can vary depending on other considerations. According to the author, there is no best time.
