Abstract
This document contains brief comments and descriptions of megalithic stone monuments observed by Godwin-Austin in the Khasi hills, along with photographs of the structures. Also included are a sketch and comments on cairns observed in the same area. Godwin-Austin, a British Army major, was at the time Deputy Superintendent Topographical Survey of India.
