University MicrofilmsAnn Arbor, MichiganPublished In 1984 • Pages:

By: Attagara, Kingkeo.

AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
Attagara's dissertation is primarily a presentation of a large body of folklore texts from a rural community in Thailand, Ban Nai. Since the author was interested in how religious beliefs and practices are reflected in folklore, the introductory discussion contains a good quantity of information on Buddhism and folk religion.
