Abstract
The material contained in this source is supplemental to that contained in Cornell (1956). The source contains portions of Cornell's dissertation on the hamlet of Matsunagi which cover topics not included in Cornell (1956). The subjects covered are the life cycle, religion, basic economic and technical data, data on social organization, and a glossary. Cornell spent 10 months studying Matsunagi and his field methods included unstructured interviews and observation (p. viii).
