Abstract
This document contains the translations of 7 documents written by Spanish colonial authorities between 1785-1819. Most of the information concerns diplomatic relationships between the Spanish and the Comanche. In addition, there are bits of information about hostile relationships amongst the Comanche and other Indian tribes in New Mexico. In marking this source, Category 643 was used when the discussion concerned the 'chief' or 'General of the Comanche Nation' who negotiated with the Spanish.
