Abstract
In this article Goodwin presents a descriptive overview of the religion of the White Mountain Apache. Included are descriptions of not only shamanism, ritual and prayer, but also of cosmogony and beliefs concerning life and death. In addition, Goodwin analyzes the part played by personal experience with supernatural power and how that differs from traditional ritual.
