Abstract
This work discusses aspects of Enxet social psychology, or personhood, with particular focus on the concept of the "wáxok," which is both a physical and metaphysical organ located in the region of the stomach. It is the seat of emotions and knowledge, understood as the ability to love and be tranquil. The author also discusses how the Enxet turn on and off their emotions to serve group interests. Alcohol's role in disrupting tranquility and group cohesion is also considered.
