Abstract
This study, in Spanish, presents a highly descriptive overview of Shipibo ethnology from the 1930s to the 1970s. The document provides some limited historical background information on the Shipibo and statements of acculturatiive processes running throughout the text. Major topics discussed in this work are: subsistence patterns, crafts and economic organization, art forms, dress, recreation, socio-political organization, religion, medicine, and the life cycle from conception to death.
