Abstract
This source contains data collected by the Beagleholes concerning red-green color blindness and color terms among the Tongans. The authors present the results of the Ishihara color blindness test among a sample of 135 male and female Tongans and compare their results with tests amongst other population groups. They also employed a color chart to elicit color terms. The data may be of some use, but in general the article is devoid of methodological or theoretical sophistication.
