Holt, Rinehart and Winston • New York • Published In 1969 • Pages: 18, 301
By: Opler, Morris Edward.
Abstract
This is the life history of a Mescalero Apache who was in his mid-fifties when the account was taken. Opler stresses, in his introduction, that Chris is a person who is living in two worlds. A great deal of miscellaneous information is included. The source as a whole, however, is primarily concerned with shamanism and supernatural power.
