Abstract
This chapter, written by an indigenous researcher, deals with several aspects of traditional Navajo arts and crafts, specifically: weaving, silverwork, basketry, and pottery. Greatest attention is given to weaving where its origins, dyes, regional variations, economics, and myths are covered. The resurgence of traditional arts and crafts through educational efforts and tribal pride is also addressed.
