Journal of American folklore14 • Published In 1901 • Pages: 225-239

By: Jones, William.

Abstract
In this source, Jones presents the creation myth of the Sauk and Fox. This account is apparently compiled from fragments which '…are rendered freely in a simple straightforward idiom rather than formally in a literal, bald translation.' (p. 226). Footnotes are located at the end of the source, on pp. 238-239.
