My work among the Florida Seminoles

University Presses of FloridaOrlando • Published In 1982 • Pages:

Abstract
This source is a memoir in the form of an extended letter in which the author relates his observations of Seminole life, values, and material culture and the federal government's administration of the Seminoles during his tenure as an United States Indian agent among the Seminoles from 1931 to 1936. Glenn's observations of his own role among the Seminole and the high and low points of everyday Florida Seminole life are often superficial and anecdotal, but almost always interesting.
