Abstract
This is a culture summary of the Mi'kmaq (Micmac) people of the Maritime Provinces of eastern Canada. Data include information on the language and territory of the Mi'kmaq, subsistence, house types, clothing and ornament, life cycle, sociopolitical organization, ideology, and history. A brief section of the article describes cultural changes in the society during the 1960s.
