Abstract
This article is a study of Italian Canadian literature both in prose and poetry form, including information on the writers themselves, and some of the major themes represented in these works -- the sense of wandering between two worlds, family relationships, nostalgia for the idealized past in Italy, and confrontation with death. Brief excerpts from the works of several Italian Candadian writers are also presented in the text.
