Abstract
The purpose of this source is '…to present a blood group survey of three Konyag villages on Kodiak Island, Alaska; to examine the usefulness of such data in historical reconstruction; and to discuss several problems concerning microevolution in small populations' (p. 201). This survey was carried out in the summers of 1961 and 1962. The author concludes that there is considerable variation among the three villages and that the use of blood group data in historical reconstruction should be done critically.
