By: Kaprielian-Churchill, Isabel.

Abstract
Although the establishment of Armenian community life in Canada took place before World War I, principally in Brantford, St. Catharines, and Hamilton, Ontario, little is known about these communities or of the settlers. This article examines the Armenian settlement in Brantford, Ontario, believed by informants to be the largest and most important of the three communities. Kaprielian-Churchill presents a brief account of the methods used in studying the community, and then a short summation of the findings dealing with the nature and pattern of settlements in Brantford, and the work experience and household structure of the Armenian population in that community.
