Abstract
The author, a Viennese doctor of medicine who has spent almost three years traveling in the deserts of Iran, gives an account of two exploratory expeditions which he and his wife made into previously unmapped territory. He gives a detailed account of the climate, topography, and hazards of travel in the Lut and Baluchistan.
