By: Kerr, Madeline.

Abstract
The author attempts to demonstrate how socio-cultural situations affect personality formation, starting from the premise that Jamaicans are in a situation of culture contact and conflict. A great deal of information is given on the life cycle, especially child rearing techniques. Politics, religion, and folklore are discussed as projective systems. Data collection methods included intensive interviewing and the use of projective tests such as the Lowenfeld Mosaic and Rorschach.
