Abstract
This article is a general ethnographic summary of the modern Island Caribs living in the reserve set aside for them on the island of Dominica. The author treats primarily the material culture. He also has chapters on physical anthropology, social and sexual life, childhood activities, and the language and literature. The author has anthropological training and has published extensively on the Island Caribs.
