Abstract
This is a continuation of Plinys encyclopedic treatment of the medicinal uses of plants, begun in volume VI (15: Pliny this field). Book XXIV is concerned with the medicinal uses of trees and their products; Book XXV with plants used specifically for medicine; Book XXVI with specific classes of diseases and their remedies; and Book XXVII is concerned with medicinal uses of herbs. The volume concludes with an index of plants and a list of diseases.
