Abstract
This is a study of the extended family households (Zadrugas) of the Muslim Albanians living in several villages in Macedonia. Grossmith presents data on the family structure of the villagers, their household work patterns, income, land ownership, wealth accumulation, marriage, concepts of honor, and women's status in the society.
