New Indian Antiquary, extra series1 • Published In 1939 • Pages: 82-84

By: Emeneau, M. B. (Murray Barnson).

Abstract
The author, a linguist, describes the menstruation practices of Toda women and contrasts them to those of other Indian communities, specifically the Kotas and Badagas. Kim also discusses the association between menstrual regulations among the Todas and those regulations of the dairy-complex, as he finds restrictions in this area to be the most stringent.
