Abstract
This source is a socioeconomic study of the village of Kadukkara, located in Thovala taluk, Kayakumari district. It provides substantial quantitative data on a number of aspects of the village, including population size and composition, labor supply and employment, agriculture and other productive activities, and attitudes toward parenthood and birth control. There is some discussion of the caste structure of the village, and various other aspects of the social and religious life of the villagers.
