Abstract
The pages of this document included in the files are the introduction to an article which is a collection of songs and stories of the Ch'uan Miao. The introduction contains brief information on the identity, economy, social organization, religion, and the language of the Ch'uan Miao. The author spent many years with these people. The Miao people described here are probably Szechwan Hua (Flowery) Miao; however, they may be White Miao.
