Abstract
This article, by a professional anthropologist, summarizes cultural data gathered by him during field work in the Rif. Portions of the summary include the agricultural system, property, religion, physical anthropology, and warfare. The most extensive portion of the article deals with socio-political organization. The author gives listings of the various divisions and their respective officials, as well as the inter-relationships between groups and the history of recent social change in the political structure of the area.
