Journal of the African Society24 (94) • Published In 1925 • Pages: 117-130

By: Bagshawe, F. J..

Abstract
This document provides observations on Hadza culture and society in a time when there was little or no previous contact with Europeans. The descriptions are colored by the author's impression of the Hadza as suspicious of strangers but harmless, and their environment as inhospitable yet full of game, while nevertheless acknowledging the Hadza peoples' impressive knowledge of their environment and their economic prowess.
