Abstract
This short note describes one step in the E-Unoto ceremony of the Maasai, namely the sacrifice of the heifer and the distribution of the hide finger rings to the warriors. The accompanying photographs illustrate the latter procedure. Mr. Margetts speculates briefly on the symbolic meaning of the hide finger rings.
