AB  - This article aims to fill gaps and make corrections to an existing classification of Karajá traits. There is general agreement on subsistence economy and the sexual division of labor, but significant corrections are made regarding settlement patterns and social organization. Emphasis is given to the kinship system including descent, unilineal descent groups, family organization, and previously unreported terminology (although no native kin terms are provided).
