Aymaras and Quichuas: a study of Bolivian anthropology

Proceedings of the International Congress of Americanists (1) • Published In 1913 • Pages: 63-74

By: Chervin, Arthur.

Abstract
This is an early work on the Aymara by a French doctor, based on information obtained from questionnaires drawn up by the Societe d'Anthropologie de Paris, and anthropometric data obtained by the French Scientific Mission of 1903 to Bolivia. In highly compact form, Chervin gives information on the living facilities and means of livelihood of the Aymara, and their physical anthropology, comparing it with that of the Quechua.
