Abstract
This book discusses the social structure of the people of Lamotrek Atoll in the in the Woleai Region of the Federated Republics of Micronesia. It argues that the ways residents of Lamotrek organized themselves into clans, subclans, lineages and households closely resemebled with the ways this little island interacted with the neiboring Elato, Satawal and several other islands of the Western Pacific.
