Abstract
This brief but detailed account summarizes the methods and implements used for hunting the chief food animals of the Navajo, as well as recipes for their preparation into meat dishes. At the time of writing the article, the author was gathering material for a Ph.D. degree on Navajo ethnozoology at the University of Southern California.
