Abstract
This is a popularized account of the author's visit to the Seminoles living in the Big Cypress and Everglades areas of Florida in the summer of 1910. Data are presented on geography, house types, clothing, ornament, language, and Indian-White relationships. Skinner was commissioned by the American Museum of Natural History in New York to gather artifacts and cultural data on the Seminoles during his brief visit to them.
