Abstract
Although the impact that Cubans have had in south Florida is noticeable in all areas of life and manifested in all aspects of culture such as the economy, politics, education, religion, entertainment, sports, the arts, the media, etc., it is the author's belief that it is in the area of behavioral syncretism in the context of biculturation that the impact is more strongly felt (p. 17). This article examines the range of the Cubans' cultural impact in south Florida (see above), concluding with the cultural/behavioral implications that such an impact entails.
