Abstract
Mr. Tiet, an ethnologist, here presents a collection of folk-tales recorded among the Kaska Indians. There is a brief introductory section, identifying the group and their affinities, and various sporadic references to ideas about nature and man. Numerous footnotes have been added, mostly by Franz Boas, which refer the reader to sources on other tribes which possesss folklore elements similar to those which occur in the texts presented here.
