Abstract
The Korean American community in the United States is often considered to be a model minority group because of their economic success. Yu examines this seemingly booming community and describes the work patterns of Korean immigrants in the Los Angeles area of southern California. In addition the author attempts to point out various factors related to the typical work pattern, including data on problems related to work, and the degree of satisfaction from work (p. 49).
