By: Langrand, Gustave, Hanson, Patricia.

Abstract
Lagrande, a French geographer, made this study of social and economic activities, arts and religious life in a small fishing village on the southern coast Annam. It includes a discussion of the geography of the coast of central and southern Annam. Lagrande does not give the dates of his field work, stating that he gathered his data during vacations, presumably while teaching at the Institut de la Province at Hué. The date of writing is given as 1937 in Nhatrang, and it may be assumed that the field work occurred about 1935.
