Abstract
This document describes the non-Chinese inhabitants of South China. In addition to Miao, the Shan-Thai are discussed, and two chapters dealing with them exclusively have been indexed for the Shan-Thai (AL03) collection. In addition to a general information, detailed descriptions are given of the dress of various Miao groups, their cultural differences, religion, folklore, and daily life.
