Abstract
This work is based on the author's personal observations during a prolonged sojourn among the Lolo. Material culture data covering a broad range of information is found throughout. Cultural differences between ethnic subgroups are indicated as are aspects of the Lolo social structure. Two maps pinpoint the Lolo area in West China.
