Abstract
This source presents the results of a study of visiting and greeting interactions involving the members of the camps of the sedentary community of !Koi!kom in the Kade area of Botswana. The author examines differences between male and female visiting patterns, the economic transactions occurring during visiting, and the relationship between the nature of greeting interactions and social distance.
