Abstract
In this paper the author is primarily concerned with those aspects of social organization which relate to the family and to the clan. As such, the topics that receive the fullest attention are kinship, the role of kinsmen in child socialization, the age-set system, the role of clan membership, marriage, birth, and sex life.
