Abstract
This survey presents a concise and accurate account of the existing knowledge on the Nuer society including such information as tribal groupings, physical environment, social and economic practices, and religious beliefs. Much of the material in this source is derived from Professor Evans-Pritchard's studies of the Nuer and may be regarded as a summary of his views.
