Abstract: Written for a series called 'Case Studies in Cultural Anthropology,' this work is largely a summary of Beattie's larger work on the Banyoro (see document no. 1). However, he has added very good descriptions of kinship and community relationships (among the best I have read anywhere), and medical practices.
