Abstract
This is a study of child mortality in two Tanoan pueblos. Data on mortality are arranged by age of death and compared with comparable figures from White and Colored populations. The mortality rates are arrived at by comparing the number of deaths with the number of infants born in the families studied in given time intervals. Material on child and infant care and feeding are also included and referred to when comparisons are made with non-Indian mortality rates.
