Abstract
This article contains detailed ecological information on the area shared by the northern Tonto and the northeastern Yavapai between 1846 and 1886. Not only are the topographical, geological, floral and faunal data provided for the various ecozones, but an attempt is made to reconstruct land use/population distribution patterns for the period.
