Abstract
This source is a study of Zulu ritual beliefs and practices presented from the Zulu point of view. In order to present the Zulu point of view, the author quotes extensively from conversations and interviews he had with Zulu diviners and others and presents materials in a descriptive rather than analytic fashion. The main topics covered by the study are beliefs about spirits and divinities, diviners and divination, witchcraft and sorcery, ritual practices, and symbolism and dualism in Zulu thought.
