Abstract
This is a short and excellent summary of the activities and prerogatives of the various types of Cuna medicine men. The article was published shortly after Nordenskiöld's death and somewhat before his notes were collected and published (see 1:Nordenskiöld). Much of the material is given in the larger source but this short article is the best analysis of Cuna medicine men.
