Abstract
This document contains two articles written by McKim and edited posthumously by Henry Wassén. The articles are consecutively paginated. The second is McKim's diary for the period of his travel on the Upper Bayano; significant parts of this article have been included in the file. McKim was an American officer in the Canal Zone and was very interested in the Cuna Indians, with whom he was very popular. He was an acute observer and his articles are of great value to the ethnography of the Cuna.
